Brendon Burton

Brendon Burton

Brendon Burton is an American visual artist based in Portland, Oregon. Brendon spent his childhood on a farm in an isolated community where he developed his distinct style and interest in vacant and decaying places. His work studies the side effects of cultural isolation and the concept of loneliness.

Burton captures the decadence and loneliness of rural American landscapes, in which the presence of man’s activities such as pylons or signs often sound like a disturbing element, errors in the landscape.
